While most of us parents go all out for our kids’ birthday parties, we’re still nowhere near the lavish parties thrown for celebrity kids. Their themed events often eclipse even the most elaborate funfairs. Well, if you’ve got the money, why not?
Lavish Birthday Parties
Some of the most famous celebrity kids, such as Suri Cruise, are used to luxury such as decadent baby cribs, organic baby clothing, and diamond encrusted rattles, so it’s no surprise that Suri’s recent birthday was held at extremely luxurious. Her tea party birthday at a Beverley Hills mansion was quite normal considering her second birthday party was rather extravagant. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes spent a whopping $100,000 on Suri’s butterfly themed party. This celebrity kid’s party featured a $5,000 birthday cake, Wolfgang Puck food at $4,500, and $200 cupcakes. Where were the burgers and finger foods?
Christian Combs, another celebrity kid that many may not have heard of, but as the son of Sean Combs A.K.A P. Diddy, Christian’s twelfth birthday was everything expected from the hip hop mogul, and more. Diddy took Christian on a three-day bus trip to Las Vegas and then treated him and some not-so-famous celebrity kids to a birthday cake as tall as Christian, pizza, and shrimp scampi.
The Rossdale’s are more grounded in their events, even though they probably spent a fortune on organic baby mattresses when Kingston and Zuma came around. Staying away from too much luxury they treated their celebrity son Kingston to a $15,000 party. Even though it cost a pretty penny, the idea was more in keeping with the kinds of birthday parties non-famous non-celebrity kids enjoy. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale ordered simple burgers, chips, finger foods, clowns, face painters and a jumping castle were the order of the day. This is the Rossdale’s keeping it real.
