Two marriages polarized Charlie Sheen’s life in the early 2000’s; first to Denise Richards (2002) and then Brooke Mueller (2008). Domestic violence charges soon followed after his marriage to Denise – the couple was torn apart by arrests, abuse and drug use. A heavy battle ensued for the custody of their two children, with the war only ending last year with a sort of uneasy peace between the divorced couple – Charlie Sheen stated that, “we had to do what’s best for the girls.” Charlie Sheen’s marriage to Brooke Mueller, an estate agent, endured similar circumstances with charges of stalking, menacing and domestic violence. Rehab was a revolving door for Charlie Sheen at this point. He had taken a voluntary break from his hit TV show, ‘Two and a Half Men’ to enter rehab. Charlie Sheen’s rehab stint was considered a pre-emptive strike against any further mishaps. This did not stop Charlie Sheen from losing his mind in the twilight hours of October the 26th. Inside the Plaza Hotel, Charlie Sheen smashed up his luxury room, divulged in unknown quantities of cocaine and locked a former porno model inside the bathroom (for reasons unknown). A week later, Charlie Sheen’s third wife filed for divorce.
