We all know Gaga to be something of an enigma in certain ways and a complete extrovert in many others, one of those out-there-ways being her personal style. Lady Gaga fashion has always been extreme and individual and yet something about her style always rings relative. Gaga’s most recent show in front of the cameras is her fashion film which has been shot in five parts.

Gaga’s hit song ‘You and I’ music video starred five characters which have all taken on a life of their own. Since September 2011 Gaga has released a series of fashion films. Each film depicts a character from the original video.
When watching ‘You and I’ fans are introduced to a very natural creature in ballet slippers and a slip of dress. This is not typical Lady Gaga fashion and the influence must’ve been from the days of innocence. The second fashion film is a leap that boggles the mind as it shows her covered in metal wires. Just when you get your head around the giant jump, you watch the third fashion film and Gaga throws you a demur mermaid character. You almost get mental whiplash just thinking about Gaga’s splitting characters and diverse fashion choices. The fourth and fifth fashion film instalments appear to include leather, and then a wedding dress.
Gaga’s clothes choices have always been something of a bone of contention for many, including some of her fans most recently, but there is no doubt about it, this is one lady who can take linen shirts pair them with neon legwarmers, throw on a pair of Louboutins and head out to the video store, and no-one would bat an eyelid. Lady Gaga fashion is never boring, always interesting and completely unexpected.
