Baby showers are a great day for every mother-to-be. After suffering all the pain, weight gain, unusual cravings/repulsions, it’s finally your time to shine. You’re the centre of attention and a variety of presents – some for yourself, some for your unborn – are handed out in celebration. A celebrity baby shower can take this celebration to another level, though. Anything from luxury baby cots to ornate mobiles is fair game, and recently it’s been the turn of Snooki (Nicole Polizzi) from reality show, Jersey Shore, as she heads towards the special day.
The Shower
The 24 year-old recently had her baby shower at Falkirk Estate and Country Club in Central Valley, New York where she enjoyed the day celebrating the pending arrival of her baby boy with 100 lady friends. Snooki has reached celebrity status for nothing other than playing herself in the “reality” TV series, Jersey Shore.

The baby shower saw the celebrity welcoming photos and made news headlines all over the place. Her Jersey Shore clan were also present, including Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola, Deena Nicole Cortese and Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley. Snooki has been quite candid with her news mostly through her Twitter activity. With celebrity baby names often pushing the boundaries of normality, Snooki has actually been surprisingly conservative with hers – Lorenzo.
The Spoils
She took a whole four hours to open all of her gifts and although she didn’t mention anything about organic baby bedding, some of the presents included a zebra-print diaper bag, cupboards worth of clothes and a motorcycle rocket. With the birth only a month away, it’s quite possible that we’ll be seeing pictures of this celebrity baby days after he pops out.
