Daniel Radcliffe Seeks to Dodge Typecasting
Christopher Reeve couldn’t move on from Superman, for many Sir Anthony Hopkins will forever be Hannibal Lecter and Daniel Radcliffe will have to work hard to be anyone other than Harry Potter in the hearts and minds of hardcore fans. The threat of typecasting isn’t holding the young actor back and his first role since the final instalment of the Harry Potter series is looking promising.
Emma Watson is More Than Just a Pretty Face
As the Harry Potter series draws to a close and Emma Watson says farewell to her character Hermione, her attention has shifted to other projects. So what has she been filling her days with in the meantime?
You’ve probably seen Emma Watson in a bikini; this is due to her love of water sports especially scuba diving. While holidaying in Mauritius she earned her PADI certificate that allows her to go scuba diving anywhere in the world. Other sports that she enjoys playing include tennis and field hockey and netball – both of which require the use of vests similar to high vis clothing, as well as skiing. She has also won silver awards for freestyle dance and street jazz.
Building Regulations Put a Spell on Harry Potter Producer
Harry Potter may be the world most successful franchise; this of course comes with its own blessings and curses. One of the producers of the latest Harry Potter films, David Heyman had begun to disobey building regulations by causing a massive ruckus on his property during the construction of his Grade Two listed home. This home is no small semi-detached in the middle of a council owned estate. No sir, this is an eleven million pound luxury mansion in the heart of Pimlico that has been under major renovations since early 2008. This is a gothic style home that has been given the original nickname of Hogwarts by Mr. Heyman’s neighbors.

Alan Rickman, Britain’s coolest “Bad Guy”
Speak to an estate agent Hammersmith about property for sale Hammersmith and they’ll probably mention how many notable British actors live in the neighbourhood. These renowned thespians include Hugh Grant, Daniel Radcliffe and Alan Rickman – any fan of the Harry Potter films and DVDs would be thrilled at the chance to witness the boy wizard (Radcliffe) and his ill-tempered potions master (Rickman) doing their grocery shopping side by side!
Alan Rickman has been performing on stage and screen since the 1970’s, and has demonstrated his talent in a number of varied roles. Alan Rickman’s portrayal of movie villains has earned him international fame and pop culture status, and the majority of today’s movie-going audience would immediately associate Alan Rickman with the sinister professor Snape, Harry Potter’s malicious potions teacher. However, there are several other “baddies” that have made Alan Rickman a favourite for antagonistic roles:
Daniel Radcliffe wins at earning money
In 2000 at the age of 11 Daniel Radcliffe went to see a play in London when film producer David Heyman approached him and suggested he audition for the role of Harry Potter.
Things could’ve gone two ways: Radcliffe’s one option was to return to his Hammersmith property, mull it over during a game of PlayStation and conclude that a fast paced celebrity lifestyle was not quite his vibe. Or he could’ve thought about it, realised how awesome it would be to live (ok act) the Harry Potter dream, and shouted “Hell yeah! Sign me up!”
