A new exhibition at Buckingham Palace features several prized items celebrating the union of Kate Middleton and Prince William; now the public can enjoy a close-up look at the Alexander McQueen wedding dress, the veil, the shoes, the 1936 Cartier diamond tiara and the Royal wedding cake. This creamy creation would make even the most seasoned online cake delivery service gasp with awe; and of course, Royal wedding cake designer Fiona Cairns was asked to reconstruct the top 3 layers of her masterpiece following the Royal wedding.

The cake connoisseurs among you will be wondering just what went into that oh-so-special centrepiece of the Royal wedding reception – and doubtless Mrs Cairns is the envy of London bakers for miles around for landing such a prestigious commission! Princess Beatrice’s Hat Has Benefits

The Royal Wedding was a month ago but has still been making news. It was a spectacle of the famous, the infamous, and those with unusual fashion sense. One guest which undoubtedly stood out head and hat above the rest was Princess Beatrice. The 22 year-old who is fifth in line to the British throne wore a Philip Treacy hat caused quite the stir on social media platforms. The somewhat strange design led to many comparisons, some which were ruder than others. It has been likened to everything from a toilet seat to a pretzel. The rose-colored hat spawned numerous blog posts, along with a Facebook page, “Princess Beatrice’s ridiculous Royal Wedding hat”, with more than 143,000 “likes.” Just as we thought we saw the last of this creation it makes headlines again.
